The Northern Colorado population boom is continuing and the latest report from the U.S. Census Bureau shows that Greeley is, once again, one of the fastest growing areas in the country!
The Greeley metropolitan statistical area, or MSA, encompasses all of Weld County and was ranked as the fourth-fastest-growing MSA in the country from July 1, 2015, to June 30, 2016.

The Greeley MSA grew by 9,879 people, to a total population of 294,932 (+3.5%), and was the only Colorado area in the top-25 for growth percentage. The Boulder MSA, grew by 3,488 people, for a total population of 322,226 (+1.1%). The Fort Collins MSA grew by 6,125 people, for a total population of 339,993 (+1.8%).

Colorado, as a whole, added 91,726 people, for a total population of 5,540,545. (Colorado’s populations in the year 2000 was only 4,301,261!)
