Greeley’s Festival of Trees recently wrapped up its 30th Season. This includes special events, performances, and much more.  The 9-day festival traditionally begins the day after Thanksgiving.

One of the event highlights is the holiday tree displays.  Every year the Festival of Trees presents a forest of beautifully decorated trees, whimsical to elaborate, each with its own unique theme. At the end of the Festival, the coveted People’s Choice, St. Nick’s Pick, and Mrs. C’s Favorite Tree awards are presented to the businesses, individuals, or organizations whose trees are voted overall favorites.

Congratulations to all the winners and all who contributed trees and displays to this event.

Festival of Trees 2018 Winners

After tabulating festival attendees ballots, the 2018 Festival of Trees People’s Choice Award was presented to Integrated Dental Arts.  The display was a replica of the Grizwald house from the movie Christmas Vacation.

St. Nick’s Pick was awarded to Assistance League of Greeley. This colorful tree and display were filled with holiday spirit.

Mrs. C’s Favorite Tree went to Gin & Fred Leuchter.  The classic Christmas feeling and Father Christmas images stood out.

The snowman themed tree won the Kids’ Choice Award. This tree was decorated by ABC Central Child Development Center Pre-K B Class.

Continue to Celebrate the Holidays

Festival of Trees may be concluded, but there are more holiday-themed theater, music, and film presentations through December. Don’t miss the parties; celebrations and much more offered throughout the community. We’ve compiled a list, and we’ll be checking it twice, to help you fill your calendar.
