Island Grove Events Center
Northern Colorado Children’s Festival is an annual one-day event for parents, caregivers, and their children to engage in a variety of hands-on experiences that are both educational and fun.

Greeley Philharmonic Family Concert: Music of the Americas
April 8 – 4 p.m.
Union Colony Civic Center
The GPO Family Concert is a salute to the music of Mexico and other Latin American countries, including Gershwin’s “Cuban Overture,” highlighted with lively performances by area dance students.

Easter Egg HuntEaster Egg Hunt
April 15 (0-3 years 10:30 a.m. – 4-7 years 10:45 a.m.  – 8-10 years 11 a.m.)
Anna Gimmestad Park
The event is free, bring your own Easter basket. Easter Egg Hunt is presented by Walmart and the Greeley Police Department.

Bunny Hop Skate
April 15 – Noon to 1:30 p.m.
Greeley Ice Haus
Join your friends for skating, fun, and treats from the Easter Bunny.  Ages 3+.The admission, $3 and includes skate rental.

Two Shining Seas
April 19 – 6:30 p.m.
Kress Cinema and Lounge
A Greeley Bikeways movie event. Veteran director and cinematographer Austin Smithard brings to the screen a breathtaking new odyssey of 18 wounded warriors from America’s Armed Forces on a cross-country journey to discover the nation they gave so much for in the line of duty.  Donations are accepted to help support the University of Northern Colorado Chapter of Student Veterans of America.

UNC/Greeley Jazz Festival
April 20 -22
The largest event of its kind in the nation, the UNC/Greeley Jazz Festival brings together internationally recognized artists, jazz lovers, award-winning clinicians, and over 250 college, high school, and middle school big bands, combos, and jazz vocal groups from across the country.

Baby Animal Days
April 20 through 30
Centennial Village Museum
Bring the entire family to learn about and see the resident baby animals who have arrived for the season, and some who are visiting just for this event! The event takes place in the western portion of Centennial Village and kids can visit with our calf, baby pigs, lambs, chicks, ducks, goats and rabbits.

Spring Ice ShowSkating Through Time: Divine Decades
April 29 – 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Greeley Ice Haus
Bring the whole family for this exciting night of skating entertainment in our spring spectacular ice show! The skaters will wow you with their acrobatic jumps and spins; you won’t want to miss the performance and public skate session following the show! Admission $7, Children 6 & under $5. Sponsored in part by Mountain View Skating Club and USFSA.

Arbor Day Celebration
April 29 – 9 to 11 a.m.
Greeley will be named a Tree City USA for the 37th consecutive year by the National Arbor Day Foundation.  Enjoy this free community event which includes planting trees in the park, light refreshments, and tree seedlings given to attendees.

May Play Music Festival
April 29 – 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Downtown Greeley
May Play will feature some of the best bands local to Greeley and Colorado on alternating stages. There is also a variety of local brews available from the various bars and restaurants, food booths, local organization booths, and campus organization booths to allow the students to connect with the Greeley community.

Cinco de Mayo Greeley Festival
May 6 – 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Island Grove Regional Park
This year, the festivities will include live music, a kids play area that includes three “bouncy” houses, contests, beauty pageant and enough food vendors to satisfy the most insatiable appetite. Before the Festival the Fiesta 5K takes place and the yearly car show attracts enthusiasts and dreamers alike.

Family Bike Nights: Westmoor Park
May 9 – 6:30 p.m.
Family Bike Nights are fun and casual 3-5 mile rides for the whole family.

Mother’s Day Skate
May 13 – Noon to 1:30 p.m.
Greeley Ice Haus
Celebrate Mother’s Day at the Ice Haus. Mothers receive free admission and skate rental!
