Greeley doesn’t have an April the giraffe or a live camera on its animal pens, but that’s even more reason to stop by and check out the 2017 Baby Animal Days at Centennial Village Museum. The annual event returns to the outdoor 8-acre museum from Thursday, April 20 through Sunday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

Baby-Animal-DaysFrom sweet fluffy bunnies to adorable little piglets, the event offers several animals in addition to the resident animals who will live at the museum throughout its summer season—and best yet, families can visit with these animals up close and in person.

Small children can also enjoy pony rides on weekends, weather permitting.

Admission is just $3 per person, ages three and older. Agfinity, a locally owned agricultural cooperative, is Centennial Village’s season sponsor and provides feed for the animals for this event and throughout the season.

“We have a lot of families and daycares who will pack a picnic and spend quite a bit of time with the animals,” said Museum Educator Sarah Lester. “It’s a delightful experience for families to enjoy the day together.”

Centennial Village is located just south of Island Grove Regional Park in Greeley at 1475 A St. For more information about this event, call 970-350-9220 or visit
