The Greeley Arts Picnic is a one-of-a-kind festival with a little something for everyone! Thousands of people flock to Historic Lincoln Park on the last weekend in July to stroll through over 150 artist booths selling everything from pottery and paintings, to soap and sculptures, to gourmet food and garden art. Friends and family meet in the food court to enjoy delicious festival fare or gather in the beer garden, conveniently located close to center stage…The best local and regional Colorado bands will perform on two stages all weekend long.
The 2017 entertainment lineup includes; Equally Challenged, Many Mountains, Summerland Sun, Felonius Smith, Kream of the Krop Swing Band, Emma Marie, Dixie Leadfoot & the Chrome Struts, Wendy Woo, Chris Daniels & the Kings, Soul School, Broken Land, George Gray & The Elvis Experience, Manabi Salsa Band, the Greeley Kiwanis Red Shirt Band, and more! Not to mention magicians, stilt-walkers, balloon artists, and other entertainers roving through the park, offering spontaneous entertainment!
The Creation Station Kids’ Hands-On Area is where you will find young festival goers having a blast creating make ‘n’ take art projects, getting their faces painted, taking part in a music activity, and a circus performance. There is something for everyone at the Arts Picnic!

I guess you could really say it’s not just two days of fun, it’s really two and a half days of fun, because the Friday Night before Arts Picnic, you can enjoy the free Arts Picnic Kickoff concert at Friday Fest in with Funkiphino! Enjoy free music, free popcorn, family entertainment, and take advantage of downtown Greeley’s Go Cup district!
On top of all this there is also an Arts Picnic Fine Art Exhibit that runs from July 29-August 27 at the Tointon Gallery.
Now, your next questions are probably, “How much is Arts Picnic, and where can I park?” Well, admission to Arts Picnic is absolutely FREE. (Although you’ll probably want to spend plenty on some of the crafted items you find and to enjoy the food and beverages.) Parking is also FREE. Downtown Greeley offers over 1600 free spaces all within five blocks of Lincoln Park in downtown Greeley.
Park & Ride to the Arts Picnic!
Take the free shuttle provided by Greeley Evans Transit. Free shuttle parking will be available in the Greeley Central High School north and west parking lots, with GET picking up Art Picnic attendees at 15th Street &15th Avenue (with wheelchair access). You’ll be conveniently dropped off on 10th Avenue across the street from Lincoln Park where the festival takes place. The shuttle will run from both stops approximately every 10 minutes.
