Alzheimer’s is on the rise. More than 5 million Americans are living with the disease and this number is expected to triple by 2050. But, is Alzheimer’s new? The answer is no, it’s been known about for more than a century. Kelly Osthoff presents on the History of Alzheimer’s Disease. Come learn about how Alzheimer’s was discovered and other research breakthroughs that have been key to our understanding of the disease and to our ability to one day detect it better and hopefully end Alzheimer’s.

History Brown Bags are free afternoon events that aim to provide cultural and historical context to topics related to Historic Preservation in and around Greeley.
